There are a few brief moments throughout motherhood when you feel a profound sense of pride. It's as if you've finally got something right. Imagine a chart with the names of the best moms in the world, your name written in bold, and a shining gold star sticker next to it… You know the moment I'm talking about, right? Like when your kid leaves the house with all the required snacks, a full water bottle, homework, matching socks, and weather-appropriate attire—GOLD STAR!
