Perception Changes Everything ✨

Being a Christian is not a new concept for me. I was baptized at the age of 9 in the United Methodist Church in Butler, Ohio, which also happens to be the church where my husband and I were married. As I drifted from my Christian life, I was fortunate to reconnect with my faith through a co-worker at Key Realty. Now, we faithfully attend Crossroads Church in Mansfield, Ohio. (P.S. There are a few brief moments throughout motherhood when you feel a profound sense of pride. It's as if you've finally got something right. Imagine a chart with the names of the best moms in the world, your name written in bold, and a shining gold star sticker next to it… You know the moment I'm talking about, right? Like when your kid leaves the house with all the required snacks, a full water bottle, homework, matching socks, and weather-appropriate attire—GOLD STAR! Or when you remember, just before leaving the house, to grab a gift bag and tissue paper you've shoved in a closet you rarely enter, saved for years to recycle for your son's friend's birthday gift. NOT ONLY did you remember, but the bag is the right size and the tissue paper is the right color, saving you from buying new and saving $10 on something you already had… GOLD STAR!
